I MET DORIS THE DAY SHE MOVED INTO THE HARBOR. WE HAD AN INSTAND REPORE THE MINUTE WE MET. SHE WAS THE SWEETEST AND MOST GODLY WOMAN I HAVE EVER MET. AS THE YEARS WENT BY I HAD THE HONOR OF MEETING HER FAMILY ALSO. THEY WERE LIKE THEIR MOM. JUST AS SWEET AND CARING . DORIS AND MY SISTER WERE ROOMMATES FOR A WHILE AT THE HARBOR. THEY SHARED SOME GOOD TIMES WATCHING TV AND EATING THE POPCORN STEVE WOULD BRING. AFTER MY SISTER MOVED TO THE MANOR I CONTINUED TO GO SEE DORIS BECAUSE SHE HAD BECOME ONE OF MY DEAREST FRIENDS. THE LAST TIME I SAW DORIS IN HER ROOM SHE PUT BOTH HER HANDS ON MY FACE GAVE ME
A KISS AND SAID YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO ME. I SAID YES I DO BECAUSE THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVE U. I WILL NEVER FORGET MY SWEET DORIS AND HER SMILE. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU DORIS AND WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. ALWAYS A FRIEND PEGGY HOOPER

So very sorry for your entire family loss. She was a special & caring lady, who always had a special smile & hug for you.
My thoughts & prayers are with each of you. When I visited her at Westchester, she always said she was ready to go to her heavenly home—-time for all the younger people to take over. She is so happy today resting with Jesus, but I know she always thought of her children, grandchildren & greats with such love.
Sorry I will not be able to be at funeral, but will be out of town. She will be truly missed by her church friends!!!!
