

Mr. Pelletier was born in Salem, Mass. on April 23, 1935. He was a graduate of Georgetown University in Georgetown and Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing in Brighton, Mass. He served his country in multiple deployments in Viet Nam and around the world in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Pelletier retired from the Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Commander in 1984. He moved to High Point in 1991 and was a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Thomasville Medical Center. Mr. Pelletier was an avid Boston sports fan and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in High Point.
Surviving are his wife of forty-eight years, Alexandra Klaus Pelletier of the home. Also surviving are three sons: Andrew Pelletier of High Point, Dana Pelletier and wife Sonya of Springfield, VA., and Daryl Pelletier and wife Angela of San Antonio, TX. There are six grandchildren. Mr. Pelletier has one sister, Virginia Pelletier of Peabody, Mass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with the Reverend Father Vincent E. Smith, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in the Veterans National Cemetery in Salisbury, N.C. The family will receive friends at Sechrest Funeral Service on E. Lexington Avenue in High Point on Wednesday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the Wounded Warrior’s Project, 4200 Morganton Road, Suite, 300, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
