Fanny Hazel Farmer

Fanny Hazel Farmer-95-passed away on December 16, 2012 at her residence. Hazel was born in Bedford County, Va. to the late Samuel and Susan Landreth Hudson. Hazel was raised by her grandmother Martha Jane Hudson. She was a member of the Garrell Street Baptist Church. Fannie was a homemaker and did in home child care for many years.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband John R. Farmer, a grandson Tony Kelly and a son-in-law Mike Beamon.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Johnson and fiancé Don Griffin of Kernersville, Barbara Garner and husband Bobby of Trinity, Sandra Kinley and husband James of High Point, Jean Beamon of High Point, Lorene Frazier of Allen Jay Community in High Point, and Lewis Junior Hudson and wife Rebecca of Southmont. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grand children.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Hazel’s care giver Ashley Roper, and Ricky Morgan and Justin Ewing for all they have done in helping the family.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, 2:00pm at Sechrest Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, from 6-8:30 pm, at Sechrest Funeral Services in High Point.
