Frances Elizebeth Sarber Dunn

She was born in Dorchester, VA, on May 8, 1921, the daughter of the late William Richard and the late Amanda Penly Sarber. She was married to the late James Curtis Dunn, Sr. for nineteen years.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Sarber and a nephew, Johnny Hickman.

Mrs. Dunn was a nurse, working for many years at High Point Hospital, Lambis Nursing Home, and Wesleyan Arms Nursing Home. She attended Green Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons James Curtis Dunn, Jr. and wife Susan of Dobson, and Tony M. Dunn of Kernersville; grandson Matthew K. Dunn; and brother, Bill Sarber of South Lyon, MI.

A memorial service for Mrs. Dunn will be held 8:00 PM, Friday, September 2, 2016 in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
