

Mrs. Frances “Frankie” Hudson Hayworth, 91, crossed over into eternity Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Hospice Home @ High Point following several years of declining health. Frankie was born in Davidson County, January 24, 1926, a daughter of the late Seth and Florence Collins Hudson. She worked for the war department during W.W.II and later became a home maker and mother of four children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gray “Chigger” Hayworth; a son, Randy Dale Hayworth and four siblings. Frankie was a long time member of Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Patti Beard and husband Neil; two sons, Grey Hayworth and David Seth Hayworth; six grandchildren, Emily Lockridge and Coy Beard, Amy Williams, Paul Hayworth and Christina and Jennifer Hayworth; five great-grandchildren, Reagan, Riley and Hudson Lockridge and Collin and Evin Williams; a brother, Glenn Hudson; and a sister, Grace Brown. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Pastor Walter Hunter. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
