Gary Wayne King Sr.

He was born February 11, 1951 in Guilford County to Hazel Meadows King and Jesse McAnally King. He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Amanda King; and nephew Jesse King.

Surviving is his mother Hazel King; wife of 44 years, Sharon Morris King; Sons, Gary Wayne King, Jr. (Andrea) and Jeremy King (Melissa); daughter Meredith King; grandchildren, Samual King, Noah King and Andrew King; brothers, Mark King(Tammy) and Craig King(Tanya); sisters Teresa King Winecoff (Jim)and Judi King Hilton (David); brother-in-law Ashley Morris; nieces and nephews, Erin Woods, Angie King Servey, Michelle Rutherford, Jeff King; Julia Kirk; and Lori DeRue.

He was a dedicated family man that loved spending time with his family.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m Tuesday, March 10,, 2015, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point officiated by Rev. Lisa Mullen. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. A memorial service will follow at a later date at Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC.
