Mrs. Lowdermilk was born October 14, 1908. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a Librarian. Mrs. Lowdermilk was preceded in death by her two daughters, Barbara Barnett and Shirley Rooks, and her husband, A. C. Lowdermilk.
Surviving are her grandchildren: Deborah and Ted Krocheski of Dundalk, Md; Mark and Donna Lee Rooks of Ashton, VA, Daniel and Mary Rooks of Baltimore, MD, Harvey and June Barnett of Lakeland, Fla., Dan and Carrie Barnett of Endwell, N.Y., and Jeff and Mary Barnett of Cary, N.C. There are thirteen Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation will be in the Asbury Room at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome and should be mailed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
