Joan was born May 17th, 1952, to the late Hazel and Oliver White.
She grew up in Lenoir and in her later youth lived in Thomasville. She graduated High School and went to Davidson County Community College where she earned her license in cosmetology. She later received a master gardener degree from NC Agricultural Department. Joan enjoyed gardening, watching her grandson, Nathan, and being an active member with her husband at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
Mrs. Page is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Bobby R. Page; their two daughters, Detra McHenry of Winston-Salem and Kently Page and her husband David Graham of Los Angeles, California; their grandson, Roger-Thomas Nathan McHenry of Winston-Salem; her sisters, Chris White, Becky Crotts and Sandy Ballew and husband Charles; her brothers, Larry White, Pete White, Phil White and wife Crystal; her sisters-in-law, Carol P. Armstrong and husband, Ray Armstrong, Teresa White, Melba White and Cathy White Dye; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Oliver White, Donald White and Mike White; and her son-in-law Brian McHenry.
The family wishes to offer a special thanks to the 3rd floor cancer center at Baptist Hospital.

A visitation for Joan will take place on Thursday, September 20th, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point. A funeral mass will take place Friday, September 21st, 2018 at 11am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church of Winston-Salem.
