

.John Bryce Sink 87 passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at High Point Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sink was born December 21, 1927 in Lexington, NC to the late Wilbur Lee and Lillian Yarbrough Sink. He married Barbara Farrar on October 25, 1948, who preceded him in death on June 5, 2010. He lived in High Point for 67 years and worked in furniture design and manufacturing, retiring from Drexel Heritage Company in 1992. Bryce was a member of First Baptist Church in High Point where he belonged to the Thayer-Thomas Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the High Point chapter of the Masons, a member of the High Point Amateur Radio Association (HAM Radio) and organized the Drexel Heritage Retirement Club of which he was the first president.
Bryce was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Lee Sink and his twin brother William Bruce Sink who died in infancy, and three sisters, Elizabeth Sink Jackson, Virginia Sink Ratcliff, and Hilda Catherine Sink.
Mr. Sink is survived by his daughter Linda and her husband Andre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his faithful collie, Buddy.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, 2:00pm at First Baptist Church, High Point, by Rev. Joel Campbell and Rev. Bruce Hargrove. Interment will follow at Floral Gardens Memorial Park with full Military Honors. Visitation will be on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 6-8pm at Sechrest Funeral Service, 1301 E. Lexington Ave. High Point.
