Mrs. Lois Hayworth Kennedy, 87, peacefully passed away at her home Wednesday, July 2, while watching her beloved Atlanta Braves play. Lois was born in High Point, April 30, 1927, a daughter of the late David and Lillian Routh Hayworth. She retired from Jack Cartwright, Inc. after 45 years of service. Lois was a longtime member of Oak Hill Friends Meeting. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph M. Kennedy. Lois is survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
