Lindy was born February 24, 1971 in Durham. She had a sweet disposition despite her battle with muscular dystrophy. Lindy was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah McCurdy and her grandmother, Frances Brown McCurdy.
Surviving are two uncles, Thomas McCurdy and wife Sondra of Cave Springs, AR and Timothy McCurdy and wife Ennie of San Antonio, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Lindy’s life will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel. Burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Muscular Dystrophy Association. Online condolences may be made at davisfuneralsandcremations.com.
