Margie Church Warrell

Mrs. Warrell was born in Watauga County on April 14, 1939 to Roe and Blanche Cheek Church. She was a devoted homemaker and wife and loved being “Mama” and “Mawmaw” to her family. Mrs. Warrell and her husband enjoyed their participation in the Furniture Land Chapter of A.A.C.A. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Warrell was preceeded in death by her parents, her son, SFC David Warrell in 1995 and by her sister, Genna Gaye Wilcox. On November 14, 1959 she married Carl Warrell , who survives of the home.

Also surviving are one daughter; Dana Hall and husband Steve of Thomasville and one son, Eddie Warrell and wife Tammy of Denton. There are four grandchildren; Marty and Conlee and Samantha and Austin. Mrs. Warrell has three sisters, Myrtle, Janice, and Joyce and five brothers; William, Kendrick, Wendell, Carris, and Royce.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Warrell will be conducted Thursday, January17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point by the Reverend Jeff Burton and Reverend James Sechrest. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
