

Marilyn was born on December 29th 1938 in High Point, NC.
The daughter of the late T.R . & Mae Carmichael,Marilyn was a member of The Daughters of the Confederacy and The Daughters of the Revolution. She was a long time member of Montlieu Ave UMC and Hickory Grove UMC in which she enjoyed being part of the choir.
Marilyn was a friend of Bill W. and enjoyed her times spent with the club. She was an avid Elvis Fan and enjoyed traveling to Graceland on several occasions .
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Harold Coble and Son Raymie Alford. She is survived by her children, Ted Killingsworth of Virginia, Penny Bearden of Alabama, Brian and Christina Lowe of Liberty NC and Wayne and Trecia Coble of Kernersville NC and ten Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren .Marilyn is also survived by two brothers, Roger Carmichael of Kernersville, NC and David Carmichael and wife Betty of Cary, NC.
The Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 pm on Monday Nov. 23, at Sechrest Funeral Home in High Point . A service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, Nov.24 at Sechrest Chapel. The Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
