Marion was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family who scattered along the east coast. She was a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir at Oak Grove Baptist Church/West Fairfield for 74 years. She loved to cook and loved baking pound cakes.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Raymond; son, Steve Jenkins; sisters, Elizabeth Robertson, Hattie Toole, Ann Robertson and Daisy Lee Brandt; brothers, Reese Boleman, John Boleman, Furman Boleman, Calloway Boleman and Harrison Boleman.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Jeanette (Allen) Spear; grandson, Seth Jenkins; granddaughter, Kimberly Ammons; sister, Sue Ankrich; and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marion’s name to the American Bible Society, P.O. Box 96812, Washington, D.C. 20090-6812 or to West Fairfield Baptist Church, 622 W Fairfield Rd, High Point, NC 27263.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers at Graybrier Nursing and to Hospice of Randolph County for their dedication and loving care given to Marion. As well as an extra special thanks to all of her friends at West Fairfield who were so very special and good to her.
A graveside service for Marion will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at Floral Garden Memorial Park; Pastor Mark Mosley officiating.
