I went tonSchool with Denise from Union cross to our graduation in East Forsyth the 1970s. I’ve enjoyed keeping up with her through the years through Facebook, and we actually had a breakfast together in the last few years that I will always treasure. Neesy  Is what I always called her she was a funny, sweet lady. I’m so very sorry to hear of your tremendous loss of this lovely lady.

Feel BLESSED to have had the chance to spend time with Denise at our company lunch over the holidays.  DD (she will always be to me) was always one of the first in the office turning the lights on with me and through my 13 years of working with DD.  She had become a close friend and a very strong supporter of mine.  I was "JUNIOR" to her most of my career.  I was the assumed next president of the company.  I can hear her saying that to me today!  "What do you want JUNIOR?"  I will miss our conversations about Horney Town, The Busy Bee, Her RV adventures with Roger, her trips to Oak Hallow Lake, Her love of her Ford vehicles, The fun at the Casinos.  My favorite memory is seeing DD climb down from Roger's Dually Truck when she "HAD TO" drive it to work one week.  I can picture her now in her thin grey sweatshirt she wore almost every day - winter through summer - smiling at me with her big smile - laughing with her friends at UNIVERSAL.  WE WILL MISS YOU DD.  Roger, please know you have my heartfelt thoughts and prayers!

Denise was one of the most loving, caring, beautiful lady i ever worked with.  She brought me many smiles.  She will be greatly missed and I will remember her until I see her again.  Rest in peace my sweet friend.  Much love to you and my prayers are with your loving family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Denise was such a sweetheart to me. We rolled into Samson/Universal every morning at the same time and laughed for a while before going in. She helped me get through my day on quite a few occasions & I hope I did the same. Praying that God comforts all of you in the great memories of this beautiful woman.

I recall meeting Denise for the first time back in 2021 when I started at our place of work.  She was very well established and knew what she was doing.  She talked me through a lot when I first started and taught me all the ins and outs of her job.  
I loved hearing her banter with the folks that sit next to me and loved hearing "What are you doin up here in the attic", when someone from downstairs would come by Customer Service, or the frustrated "ugh" when the going got tough.  But we all know Denise was a fighter, so she kept going, and she was so funny during meetings, even the last one we had, she had us laughing about something.  
I wish I had more to say, but I really did only work with her.
I am glad I got to see her one more time around Christmas, I hope she is at peace now.

I have thought for days since what would be the right words to her family & her memory. I could spend 3 times more that amount. And, never say enough about Denise that was an amazing co-worker. And, treasured friend of 28 years. Know she loved each of you in her family with all her heart. My thoughts & prayers are with each of you in time ahead.
