Pat was born in High Point, January 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Garland and Ruth Perdue Ritchie. She was a graduate of High Point College and an elementary teacher at Sedgefield Elementary for many years. Pat was an active member of Christ Community Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Leckie. She enjoyed going to the beach to be with her daughter.
Surviving are a daughter, Libba Motsinger of Oak Island; a granddaughter, Beth McDade of Charlotte; a step-son, Anthony Blake Leckie, Jr. and wife Sheila of Kernersville; special cousins, Peggy Grady and husband Bob and Glenda, Claudia and Mike and a number of friends and neighbors who she loved dearly and best friend, “Charlie”.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Pastor Bill Hare. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont or the American Cancer Society.
