Peggy Ann Shaw

Peggy was born in Davidson County, June 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Ray and Gladys Russell Burleson. Her work career was with Zesto’s, Piedmont Carving and Gordy’s. Peggy was preceded in death by her siblings, Otis Burleson, Bobby Burleson, Roy Burleson, Jesse Burleson, Ruth Culler and Rachel Burleson. She was of the Baptist faith. Peggy was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed keeping her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, William “Bill” Shaw; a daughter, Misty White and her husband Mark; a son, William Shaw and his wife Julie; five grandchildren, Austin White, Morgan Shaw, McKenzie Shaw, Madison Shaw and Meredith Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will held Friday at 10 a.m. at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home, High Point, Thursday from 7 until 8:30.
