Mr. Phillip Dale Welborn

Phil was born in High Point, October 8, 1952, a son of the late Dale and Nora Phillips Welborn. He was a 1971 graduate of Andrews High School. Phil had a long career in HVAC and worked at G.T.C.C. in maintenance for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-two years, Linda Welborn, his brother, Randy Welborn, a grandson, C.J. Cash and a great-granddaughter, Rylan.

Surviving are two daughters, Rachel Welborn Newman and Jenny Welborn Cash (Corwin); three step-children, Doug Rachol, Yolanda Hernandez (Robert) and Glenn Rachol (Lori); numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Phil's life will be held Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bob Pavlacka. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
