He was born June 28, 1950 to the late John L. Rouse, Jr. and the late Helen Regina Livengood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his favorite aunt, Nina Livengood.
Tim is survived by his brother John L. “Larry” Rouse, III and his wife Susan of Southern Pines; two nephews, Joshua Hatley Rouse of Bozeman, Montana, and Jeremy Lawrence Rouse and his wife Lindsay, and their three children, Davis, McKenna and Harrison of Raleigh.
Although Tim was diagnosed as schizophrenic in his late teens, he was remarkable in that he made the best of his circumstances and lived a good life. Tim loved to read and with his excellent memory he was quite knowledgeable about Africa and Native Americans. We will miss his smile and his gentle, loving spirit.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Floral Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the: Cap and Mabel Burrows Foundation, P.O. Box 814, Randleman, NC 27317.
