Robert "Bob" Donald Davidson Jr.

Bob was born in High Point on March 5, 1958 to Robert Donald Davidson, Sr. and Jean Kerr Davidson. He did his undergraduate work with UNC Greensboro and received his Doctorate in Law Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Cumberland School of Law. He had his own law office, “Bob Davidson, Jr. Attorney at Law”, in High Point and lived here until moving to Greensboro fourteen years ago. He was a former member of the High Point Elks Lodge and was a former Elk of the Year, and served on the Governance Board of the Lodge. He was forever an avid UNCG Sports Fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Kerr Davidson. In 1992, he married the former Janet Leigh, who survives of the residence.

Also surviving are his three daughters; Madison Leigh Davidson, McKenzie Morgan Davidson, and Bailey Christian Davidson all of the home.

He is also survived by his father, Robert D. Davidson, Sr. of Greensboro and his sister and brother-in-law; Donne Davidson Bean and husband Jake of High Point.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Christ United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by Dr. Matt Farabow. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point on Monday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence.

The family wishes to thank Bob’s personal physician, Dr. Daniel Paterson and the staff of Wesley Long Hospital; and especially his nurse, Erin for the care shown to him and the family.
