Shirley Katherine Miles

Shirley was born on January 13, 1950 to Gladys Doyle Pitts. She was raised and loved by Weaver and Azzalee Hussey. She married her first husband, Henry McIntyre and together they had four beautiful girls.

On August 28, 1984, she married her soulmate Charles Miles. He gave her another daughter and son.Together they added one more daughter to their blended family to make it complete.

She was a fisher woman and bowler. She was an insurance agent for many years at All Risk Insurance and Dealers Insurance. Shirley loved her children unconditionally and with all her heart. Shirley has numerous grandbabies and great-grandbabies that she loved. Preceded in Shirley's death are her loving husband Charles Miles, Donald Pitts, Larry Pitts, Cindy Giles, Steven Wishon and Jayden Neal.

Surviving of the home is her grandson Daniel Miles, six daughters, Brenda McIntyre, Linda (Jody) Howell, Julie (Steve) Wishon, Victoria (Chuck) Isom, Debbie (Todd) Miles Maggard, Marlene (Mickey) Neal, one son Mark Miles, one brother, Wayne Pitts, her sisters Freda Miles and Betty Ball, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held Saturday January 4, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Sechrest-Davis in High Point. Visitation will be Saturday January 4, 2025 one hour prior to service.
