

Thomas was born in Blythewood, SC, June 30, 1944, a son of the late David and Rosetta Peay Brown. He retired from Amos Hosiery and was a faithful member of the Spirit of Life Family Worship Center. Slim enjoyed sharing his thoughts and uplifting others. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Fuller and five brothers, Nathaniel, David, Willie, Charlie and Bernard Brown.
Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie Lorraine Thacker of Lake Worth, FL; a sister, Gladys Eccles; two brothers, Ernest Thomas Brown and Eddie Brown all of High Point; three granddaughters, Aja Maria Murray (Clifford Murray, Jr.) of Lake Worth, FL, Samantha Ann Mincey and Vanessa Ivanna Mincey, both of Poughkeepsie, NY; three great-grandchildren, Gregory Eric Heflin, Jr and Trinity Diane Heflin, both of Lake Worth, FL and Michael Christopher Lewis of Poughkeepsie, NY; a special friend, James T. Diggs; a host of nieces and nephews and a special aunt, Pearl English and a special nephew, Dwayne Brown.
A Celebration of Thomas’s Life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by Pastor Dwayne Waden.
