Vernon "Vern" Anderson, 64, left for his heavenly home on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Hospice Home @ High Point following many years of battling Alpha 1 Anti Trypsin Deficiency.
Vern was born September 30, 1958. He graduated from Ragsdale High School and also from Superior Training Services in Florida, where he became qualified as a heavy equipment operator. He worked in construction as long as his health permitted. Vern was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Mel Anderson and he was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara Anderson; a sister, Kristi Ledbetter (Stan) and a brother, Steve Anderson (Waynel); three nieces and two nephews.
Graveside services at Floral Garden will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or to the charity of the donor's choice..
