Jane D. Greichunos

Jane D. Greichunos (nee Doktysz), age 96, of Griffith, IN passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. She is survived by her five loving children: Marylynn “Mindy” (Mark) Riegert of Munster, IN, Lawrence (Linda) Greichunos of Griffith, IN, Kathleen (Michael “Brian”) Benko of Munster, IN, Deborah (John) Krouse of Elkhart, IN and Claudia (Robert) Solivais of Griffith, IN; seven grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren with a ninth due in October. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; parents: Joseph and Mary Doktysz; brother Leonard Doktysz; and three sisters: Estella Doktysz, Vera Szczygiel and Rosemary Doktysz. Jane was a member of St. Mary Church in Griffith, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad St., Griffith, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
