Madelynne L. Gray

Madelynne L. Gray (nee Ancich), age 76, of Highland, IN passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She is survived by four loving children: Dana Gray-Sejna, Denise Christensen, Alison Wallace and Eric (Gloria) Gray; nine grandchildren; Brooke, Evan, Cody, Hailey, Camden, Sophia, Addison, Isabella and Juliette; four siblings: Rose (Olan) Smith, Dr. John (Sheila) Ancich, Mary Lou (John) Haenny and Victor (Deborah) Ancich Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Gray; and parents: Victor and Mary Ancich Sr. Friends are invited to meet with the family Monday, July 9, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 4754 Carey St., East Chicago, IN with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Brandon Haenny, Celebrant. Interment will be held at Catholic Cemeteries, Hammond, IN. Mrs. Gray retired from St. Margaret’s Hospital in Hammond, IN with 37 years of service. She was a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church in Highland, IN, and was also a member of their Women’s Guild. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America and Canada. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Madelynne’s loving memory to the William J. Riley Hospice Residence.
