Sally what a great guy you married,  I know; because I knew him since the beginning of time, just kidding, since 1947, we were both 14, it was August a month after his birthday,  we met on the main street across from Schick's grocery store on the side walk and neither one was going to move so we went around an around, in the end we shook hands and that was the beginning of our friend ship for 67 years. We did every thing together getting into trouble on Halloween nights, playing foot ball on Lake Orion's Jr. Varsity, Winning our letters. He practicing his pitching his dad teaching the different types of pitches and you guested it; me catching, catchers mitts were not padded all that well then but grin and bear it I did because I had no choice. Then we learned how to drive in a friends old model A, then Arthur gets his Grandfathers Model A as a gift, let me tell you that is when the fun and laughter started what a time we had but I wont go into all the stories because I could go on for just about for ever. Most of all I want to say Art was my Brother more than my own brother because you see Arthur's Mother and Dad took me in, and I lived with them until I went into the service, how I loved all of them and have never ever forgot what they did for me and loved me, until the end Arthur was always insistent about taking care of me, even when I was older and I was older than him by 6 months but that was Arthur I guess he just felt that he was my big brother, GOD BLESS HIM for all that he did for me, in my eyes he will always be my big brother and I will miss him greatly even though we lived many miles apart he was close and I always looked forward to our birthdays because we were calling one another, and there  were those times that we all spent time together, Sally he loved you and the kids very much. So Sally may GOD continue to BLESS you and the kids for I know how much I miss him as far away as I am, that it is all that much greater for you. He was one of the best of the best they come few and far between, our GOD has to be happy to have him back. So Sally rest relax, and be happy for him because one day we shall meet again.

Sally and family,  I was sorry to hear of Art's passing.  He had a wonderful life with the sweet person you are beside him.  Now it's time for you to rest from all the loving care you unselfishly gave him. Love,  Pauline

Such a dear, dear man, so sad, however, I know the last  couple of years have been especially rough on all of you.

Very sorry to here about Art's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. So many memories of Art, Sally, Deb, and Gail. We always looked forward to "card night" for the parents, and fun for the kids.
