Cheryl A. Jacek, 77, of Milford, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026. Born on July 26, 1948, in Wyandotte, she lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and an unwavering love for others.
Cheryl was a devoted and loving mother to Eric (Jen), a caring and supportive stepmother to Lisa (Larry), and a cherished sister to Bill (Kay). Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother to Madelyn and Lily, who were truly the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, and her love for them was boundless.
Her warmth and compassion extended far beyond her immediate family. She shared a special bond with her cousin Joanne (Robert), Robert (Jacklyn), and Sharon, who preceded her in death. Cheryl’s circle of love reached wide and deep, touching many lives in ways both big and small.
Cheryl was the kindest soul, someone who always chose to see the good in everyone she met. Even through years of health challenges, she never focused on herself. Her greatest concern was always for the happiness and well-being of those around her. She possessed a rare combination of strength and gentleness, incredibly tough in spirit, yet warm, tender, and endlessly giving. Words can scarcely capture how truly special she was or how deeply she was loved.
She lived her life as a testament to love, grace, and quiet resilience. No matter the circumstance, Cheryl searched for the silver lining and carried herself with hope in her heart. Though she will be profoundly missed, the legacy of her kindness and the love she so freely shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Her life was a beautiful reminder that the simplest gifts, compassion, patience, and unconditional love, leave the most lasting impact.
