He was a talented football, basketball, and baseball player and “the world’s okayest golfer”. He not only loved playing sports but was a lifetime fan of the Detroit Lions. His personality was one of a kind. If you were in his presence, you were never lacking a smile. The man could deliver a one liner for everything. His sense of humor and bold personality never left you with a dull moment.
Dennis was a proud veteran in the U.S. Air Force and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He had a love for his country and was honored to serve. While stationed in Montgomery, Alabama he met his beautiful wife, Gina of 44 years. He was very passionate about his family, his three sons Michael (Julie), Steven (Sarah), Bobby (Jessica) made him a proud Grandpa of 11 and Great Grandpa of 3. He loved teaching them all his talents from playing the guitar to telling dirty jokes.
Dennis will be missed by many friends and family. Consider yourself lucky if you were able to enjoy the presence of this man who is now running around heaven causing chaos probably in his birthday suit.
