Doris Marie Cameron

Beloved wife of the late Aloysius. Loving mother of Richard (Elaine) Cameron, Terence (Chris) Cameron, Bradley Cameron, Laura (the late Harry) Clark, Sandra Davis, Darlene (Ray) McGee, Darrell (Pattie) Cameron, Diane (Tim) Whipple, Rosanne (the late Harold) Clayborn, Randall (Keri) Cameron and Theresa Cameron. Proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sister of Jennie Hagerty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, William Yelinek, Lorraine James and Eileen Yelinek.

Doris was a member at Church of the Holy Spirit in Highland, Michigan. Among her loyal devotion, many of her roles at church included lectoring, a Eucharistic Minister, an officer in the Women's Club, a grief counselor and assisting with the Stephen Ministry. She was also a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. In her spare time she enjoyed euchre, pinochle and domino's. Her loving heart and contagious smile will be missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Road in Highland. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the mass at 11:00 am. There will be a rosary service at the funeral home Friday evening at 6:00 pm.
