George Clayton Ford, IV of Highland, passed away August 23, 2016 at 43 years of age. Loving father of Alexis Ford. Beloved Son of Joyce (Mike) Woodgate and George Ford, III. Dear brother of Michele (Jeff) Michaels. Loving step brother of Kari (Ralph) Theisen and Kelli (Mike) Palmisano. Loving uncle of Abbey and Jacob Michaels, Isabella Theisen, Kaitlyn, Joe and Anthony Palmisano. Loving nephew of Mary Lou Stelfox and Eugene Dolan. Also survived by many cousins. George is remembered for his generosity, great sense of humor, his infectious laugh, his big heart which was always there to help everyone and drop whatever he was doing to be there to help. He loved fixing computers, cars and listening to music. A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 309 E. Maple in Holly. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-8 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Saturday at church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. A rosary will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday.
