Howard G. Dawson

Howard G. Dawson, age 71, was called home to be with his LORD on September 20, 2012. He passed while elk hunting with friends in Colorado, something he loved to do. Howard was born on June 26, 1941 in Washington, Michigan. Son of Milton and Hazel (Chaddock) Dawson. He and his family moved to South Lyon, Michigan. when he was 4 years old. He lived there until 1962 when he married Sheila Richardson, they were married for 49 years. God blessed them with 2 sons Bradley and Brian. He lived in Rose Township, Michigan. for 38 years. He has been a member of the Hickory Ridge Community Church (formerly Milford A/G) church for 32 years. He is survived by his wife Sheila, 2 sons and their wives, Bradley and Selena of Fenton, Michigan and Brian and Dawn of White Lake, Michigan, six beautiful grandchildren, Adara, Ian, Elijah, Ashton, Wade and Briana, a sister Jean and her husband, Doug, a brother Donald and his wife, Barb and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers Dale Dawson and Neil Dawson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 2-8 pm and Friday, September 28, 2012 from 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10 am at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Center Cemetery Holly, Michigan.
