So sorry to find Jeff has passed, I hadn't heard from him in awhile and his phone was off, I feared something happened to him and was saddened to find out in the obituaries. My condolences to his family.

Virginia, Eric, Chris, Kim -- There are no words to express how much Jeff meant to us.  Friends since grade school with Tom. Our lives are better for having had Jeff in them.  He stood up in our wedding and has been a loyal and loving friend for almost all of Tom's life.  We will both miss his phone calls and his deep love for all of the Hiegel family. Jeff will be greatly missed not only by myself but by the entire Lakeland family. He was a great supporter of LHS Athletics and Lakeland in general. I will miss his smile and always friendly fist bumps and hand shakes and hello's. My thoughts go out to his family. He will be missed.

To the Hardin family.   I am so sad to hear about Jeff.   Glad to know our families got to spend so much time together when the kids were young.  I miss you guys and was wondering how your were doing.   I will be praying for your family.

The Gitre family is deeply saddened by Jeff's passing, we will miss all that Jeff stood for and his tireless support of the Lakeland Athletic program.  Jeff was the real deal, a true giver and volunteer.

I believe I saw Mr. Hardin on his motorcycle moments before he died.  My wife and I were on Williams Lake Rd. heading toward Pontiac when we passed him going the opposite way.  Our son was a few seconds behind us with his family.  
My son called me when he got home and asked me if I remembered seeing a motorcyclist on Williams Lake Rd.  I said that I had and he said that he saw a motorcycle crashed near Airport Rd. 

I remember seeing Mr. Hardin clearly and I can tell you he had a big smile on his face.  

I and my wife are shocked at your loss.

Virginia and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Jeff was a wonderful person and cared deeply about his family.  I was always impressed by his dedication and enthusiasm for all the Lakeland sports teams. I will always remember him as the #1 Eagles fan!!!  RIP Jeff Hardin....I am going to miss you!

Virginia, there are no words to tell you how sorry we are for you, your kids and grandchildren. The parents and student athletes at LHS all loved Jeff and will truly miss him. I always enjoyed talking with him and he always knew what was going on with every team in the school.  I will miss bringing him a burger and a coke at the football games :-). Jeff was truly a gem, this man was a champ.

Mr. Hardin was a genuinely-good man, a person who cared deeply not only for his own children, but for all Lakeland Eagles.  Our girls basketball program was blessed to have him as our point person, the individual who greeted everyone coming to our games.  He was a loyal fan, always positive.  He was truly an ambassador for Lakeland High School and our community.

So sad to hear about Jeff's passing. He truly loved Lakeland sports teams and I enjoyed talking to him as he
sold tickets before my granddaughters volleyball & softball games. My condolences to his family.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Jeff Hardin. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Jeff was fun to be around and always a pleasure to talk with. He will be missed by his friends and the Lakeland High School sports teams.
