Faithful husband of Nancy for over 58 years. Loving father of Jody Hurt, Jerry (Julie) Beamer and Molly Hammer. Proud grandfather of Emily (Tony) Barrett, Isaac Hurt, Michelle (Ross) Knoll, Meredith Chipalo and James Murphy. Proud great grandfather of Sullivan Barrett, Joanna Knoll and Samuel Knoll. Brother of John Beamer. He is preceded in death by his sister Norma Berry.
Mr. Beamer was very active in the Elks, Eastern Stars, Shriners and Tiffin Masonic Lodge No. 77 where he was 1979 Worshipful Master. He was a proud Marine that served in the Korean War. Jerry loved telling stories and being around family and friends. He will be missed very much by all.
A private cremation has taken place and he will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
