Joseph T. Kowall

Joseph Theadore Kowall: Age 52; White Lake Township; suddenly on April 1,2012. Joe was born in Detroit, the child of Richard and Doris Kowall, now deceased. Joe is survived by his wife Cindy, Ocala, FL, and her son Andy Walus, Las Vegas; brothers Mike (Eileen) and Rik (Nancy) Kowall, White Lake, sister Theresa Kowall-Shipp, Toronto, and Aunt Virginia (Marvin) Pommer, Vancouver, B.C. “Uncle Joe” will be greatly missed by nieces and nephews Marissa (Tom) Downs, Stephanie, Erika & Theresa Kowall, White Lake; Liane (Innes) Shipp-Dey and Mathew Shipp, Toronto, great-nieces & nephews, Madeline and Colin Downs, White Lake and Liam, Ainsley, and Madeleine Shipp-Dey, Toronto. Loved and will be missed by cousins and many dear friends. Joe worked in the family business, Accurate Woodworking, before striking out on his own to found Syntek Designs with his wife Cindy. Joe was a very kind, intelligent, witty man. He was a dedicated “foodie” and loved reading and traveling. He was a genius at designing and creating machinery. Joe loved animals and any strays that wandered into his yard found a home forever. Mourning Joe also are his dedicated canine companions Romeo and Onyx.

Memorial Mass: Sat., April 14th, 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd., Highland, MI 48356. Family receiving friends at the church from 9:00 a.m.
