She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in the class of 1958. For many years, Judy graced Nate's Market in Grosse Ile with her presence, where she formed deep connections with colleagues and customers alike. Her dedication and hard work were evident to all who knew her, and her smile brightened the aisles of the market for decades.
Beyond her professional life, Judy was known for her remarkable talents as an avid crocheter and artistically inclined individual. Her creative spirit shone through her intricate afghans, each stitch a testament to her skill and the love she poured into her craft. To receive one of Judy's afghans was to know that you held a special place in her heart, as she took great joy in sharing her creations with those she held dear. In addition to her passion for crocheting, Judy found solace and joy in her garden.
Judy's adventurous spirit led her to unexpected experiences, including winning a ride in an open cockpit biplane, an adventure she embraced with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder.
A faithful member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lincoln Park, Michigan, Judy found strength and community in her faith.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Charlotte Monshor; her brother John "Jack" Monshor, and sister-in-law Pamela Monshor. She is survived by her brother Jerry Monshor; niece Amy (Thomas) Hileman and nephew John (Lindsey) Monshor; along with her cherished great-nephews and niece, Vincent, Milo, and Zoey.
Though Judy has left this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her gentle spirit and enduring love continue to inspire those she touched, and may she rest in eternal peace.
There are no services scheduled for Judy at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Michigan Humane Society.
