Patricia Nancy Caceres

Patricia Nancy Caceres, age 78, of Union Lake, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Cranberry Park of Milford. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Toni (Steve) Goble, and Carmen (Kevin) Estill; her five grandchildren: Steven (Diann), Tara, Andrew (Victoria), Ryan (Kelly), and Amberleigh (Justin); and her nine great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Asher, Yvette, Emerson, Genevieve, Jeriah, Eowyn, Quinn, and Ransome.

Patricia was born February 27, 1945, in Dearborn, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Freeman) O’Hara. When she was introduced to Andres Caceres in Detroit, it was love at first sight! Patricia and Andres started dating, and were eventually married in March of 1963. They shared fifty-three wonderful years together until Andres's passing on December 2, 2016. Patricia worked as a secretary at Maccabees Insurance Company for many years until her retirement. In her free time, Patricia greatly enjoyed rock collecting with her husband; she was even the author of a newsletter for a local rock and mineral club. Some of Patricia’s fondest memories were made on camping trips up north and all over the United States with her husband and family. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn; and her beloved husband, Andres.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, Michigan 48356. Patricia’s family will receive visitors on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
