Richard Slone

Richard Robert Slone, age 83, born November 11, 1932 in Detroit, MI and passed peacefully December 19, 2015 in White Lake, MI surrounded by his family. Loving son of the late, Walter and Bernice Slone. Adoring husband of the love of his life, Cecelia for 60 years. Respected and cherished father of Richard, Steven (Renee), Walter (Robin), John (Kathy) and Kevin. Hero and beloved grandfather of 9 grandchildren, their spouses and 16 9/10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Shirley, Kathleen and Terry. Richard will be missed by many nieces, nephews and any friends he welcomed into his family.

Richard served his country proudly in the Korean War. He worked at Laramie Corporation until he retired to Florida. He was valued in his community and admired by anyone that called him a friend. Richard was the Rock of his family and will truly be missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 12:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E.
