My deepest sympathies to Sarah's family and friends. I was so sad to hear she had passed away after struggling with illness. Sarah and I grew up near each other and went to high school together and hung around together. She was beautiful and fun and I know she will be missed. I hadn't seen her in many years but I hold many happy memories of our younger years. My deepest condolances to her husband and children, my prayers are with you all. May she rest in peace and love.

Tim,

Joyce and I have such good memories of times spent with you and Sarah and the gang.  We were just looking at pictures of several years of Halloween parties (We were all pretty scary!), trips to Manitou Island, Proppe's wedding, and Michigan football parties among others.  We were lucky to have such good friends and we will keep Sarah, you, Ben, and Alexi in our hearts.  You are an amazing guy and as Cathy says, "an inspiration". 

Joyce here, I will always treasure Sarah's infectious laugh.  I can still hear her laugh.  It's etched in my precious memory of her.  Sarah was such a creative soul.  I was so impressed that she wove the material for her wedding gown!  She was so beautiful.

Sarah thanks for helping me through biology in the 7th grade even though the answers came straight from your paper.  We will miss you.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was so fortunate to be one of Sarah's housemates at Michigan, she was a joy to be around, always.  Such a cheerful disposition that inspired all who knew her...I am lucky to have those memories.

Sarah and Tim were a great couple. I couldn't have had a better sister in law. We will miss you very much. I know in heaven there is grand reunion with your parents and our grandparents. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

When I think of Sarah, I think of her smile. She always had a wonderful, friendly, happy smile. Her illness took that away from her, but it can't take my memory of her smile.

We had wonderful times together and our two families became one big family.

Sarah married a great man in Tim and his devotion and caregiving is an inspiration.

Alexi and Ben are amazing kids who are so wonderful and I know she is very very proud of them. 

When I think of Sarah, I think of the song "Here Comes the Sun." She was a sunny, happy light in my life.

Sarah, I will never forget your beautiful smile, bright eyes and funny laugh. Thank you for making my time at Michigan  memorable. You were really good at what you did and always kept things interesting. We had soooo much fun together.   Our Tim's hit it off and we had many a weekend of adventure. I will never forget the root cellar and the bonfire in the field ????  You were always so sweet and fun to be with.
