Beloved husband of Anne. Loving father of Allison (John) VanHaverbeke, Katherine Hoensheid and the late Joseph Hoensheid. Loving grandfather of Liam Joseph and Layla Jennifer. Loving brother of Ralph (Doris), Gary (Jana), Mark (Linda), Kurt (Gina) and Craig (Julie) Hoensheid.
Scott retired as President of Commercial Steel Treating Corporation in Madison Heights. After retirement, he and his wife Anne started Oakland Business Center in Highland. In his spare time he enjoyed duck hunting, collecting both vintage signs and tonka trucks. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Hillman, however; his greatest joy was the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be very much missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Road in Highland. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 9:00am until the time of the mass at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford.
Memorial contributions in memory of Scott Hoensheid suggested to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to aid in the research of Mantel Cell Lymphoma.
