Suzanne Love Farnum

Suzanne L Farnum, a long-time resident of Highland, Michigan passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 92 years of age.

Suzanne L Farnum was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 7, 1932, to parents, Ralph Love and Isabella (Wetnight) Love. They moved to Bloomington, Indiana and lived on East University Street, with their three children, Robert, James, and Suzanne. While attending University of Indiana Suzanne met and married David B Farnum. After marrying they moved to Texas where David was stationed as an Armor Officer for the US Army. In Texas daughter Susan (Farnum) Sharp was born followed by son Richard Farnum. After Davids duty was completed they moved to Detroit where their second daughter, Elizabeth (Kramer) was born. Brothers, James, John, Michael, and Kevin joined the family. The family move to Livonia, where they resided until 1963. They then moved to Highland.. Suzanne has been a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her children, Susan Sharp (Dennis), Richard (Linda), Elizabeth Kramer (Steve) , John (Mary Beth), Michael (Lori), and Kevin (Lisa) as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Suzanne is preceded in death by her son James (infant) husband, David B Farnum, brothers, Robert and James Love

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. A Funeral as will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 26 2024 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Road in Highland with visitation at the church from 10:00am until the time of the mass at 11:00am.

Suzanne will then be reunited with her beloved husband David at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
