Thomas Edwin King, age 82, passed away on October 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Donna King for 56 years. Loving father of Thomas (Kristen), Melanie, and Evan (Susan). Proud grandfather of Kyle, Matthew, Sydney, Zachary, Ashley, and Joshua. Dear brother of William (Myrna) King and Laura Hartwig. He was a private pilot for 20 years and he served with the Michigan Air National Guard for 28 years. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Graveside Service will be at 12:30 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. There will be luncheon at 2:00 pm at Highland House, 2630 E. Highland Road, Highland. Memorial contributions can be made to Michigan Paralyzed Veterans and the Salvation Army.
