

He is predeceased by his parents Robert Anderson and Bessie (Anderson) Towne, brother Herman Knapp Jr., sister Ruby Oliver, sister-in-law Mary Knapp, brothers-in-law Marvin Stromberg and Herbert Ellcey, parents-in-law Raymond and Anna Moschke.
Al is survived by his wife Sandra (Moschke) Anderson, son Matthew & Michelle Anderson, daughter Brenda & Matthew Vander Plow. Four wonderful grandsons that brought such joy to Al’s life, Ethan Anderson, Eric Anderson, Javan Vander Plow and Logan Vander Plow.
Al is also survived by two brothers Carroll Knapp (Laverne) and Marvin Anderson, two sisters Virginia Jean Stromberg, Linda Ellcey, & sister-in-law Jan (Knapp) Mobley.
Surviving brothers and sisters-in-law Ruby & Russ Wagner, George Scott (Sue Flowers), Ed & Ann Scott, Richard & Crystal Moschke, Hallie Bowden, Shirley Moschke and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Al was a faithful and loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He was a member at Parkside Bible Church where he served on the board, taught Sunday School, coached softball and led many Bible Studies through the years. His passion was to share Christ with others and to lead Bible Studies to encourage others to grow in their faith.
He worked at Sligh Furniture and Bolhuis Lumber/Worden Company.
Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6-8pm at Parkside Bible Church,.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1pm with a luncheon to follow at Parkside Bible Church.
Memorials may be given to Parkside Bible Church or Hospice of Holland.
