Barbara Joy Wilson

Barbara graduate from Hope College in 1962. After college, she worked in bookkeeping and human resources for many years, and retired from Waste Management in 1993 after 15 years of service. She was a lifetime member of the VFW, and served as a charter member of the Swedish Weaving Group. She also taught Swedish Weaving to many clubs and organizations. She was a secretary and member of Citrus Village, where she and her husband James lived for many years in Texas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother Henrietta Kamphuis-Beekman, father Jacob Kamphuis, step-father Raymond Beekman, brother Robert Kamphuis, step-brother Roger Beekman, and step-sister Elaine Ooms.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years James;

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 12:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, in Holland. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Rev. Dan Roxbury will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeshore Cemetery.
