Bea had been a member of Lakeshore Church of Christ for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her garden, where she grew beautiful roses. Most important to Bea was her family and her church, and she devoted much of life to caring for those she loved and deepening her faith. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband Grover in 1993, infant son Van, son Tony in 1969, son Reuben in 2009, grandson Kim Wilson in 2005, and great-grandson Steven Bossardet in 2009.
Bea is survived by her children: Mary and Don Lamer, Beverly and Mike Scholten, Max and Souly Calvert, Lou and Jim Murdoch; Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; Sister Leona Whitley of Black Oak, Arkansas.
A funeral service for Bea will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00pm at Lakeshore Church of Christ, 711 Butternut Drive, in Holland. The family will greet visitors and hour prior to services. Burial will take place at East Saugatuck Cemetery.
