

Brian worked for ITW Drawform for 25 years as a Tool and Die Maker. He was an active member of East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church.
Brian will fondly be remembered for being a committed and compassionate family man, for his love of competition as a runner and triathlete, his joy for scuba diving, ballroom dancing with Laurie, his eye for detail, his exceptional home brewing, quiet demeanor, witty wisdom, and love for comic relief.
He was preceded in death by his father David Allen Lohr in 2003; and mother-in-law Grethel (Stegink) Genzink in 1992.
Surviving are his wife Laurie of 30 years; daughter Caitlin (Trevor) Tyler; son Michael Lohr; granddaughter Marin Faye Tyler (and another grandchild on the way); mother Ruth Ann Ippen; father-in-law Donald (Alice) Genzink; siblings Alan (Kathy) Lohr, Susan (Mike) Childress, and Diane (Greg) Schrotenboer; many extended family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life is planned for 7pm Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church, 3815 56th St., Holland.
Visitation will be from 4-6:30 Tuesday January 30 at East Saugatuck CRC and immediately following the service at church.
