

He suffered many years from Parkinson's disease.
Dave worked at BASF for 38 years. He loved spending time with his family, running, biking, playing softball and watching the Detroit Tigers. He served in the US Navy from 1956 -1958.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Joy (Hulst); children, Dan and Amanda Roelofs, Debbie and Bob Van Munster, Dean and MaryJo Roelofs; his grandchildren Joshua and Hannah Roelofs, Kate and Nick Spitler, Aaron Roelofs, Emily and Derrick Ubbink, Kelly Van Munster, Nick and Mandy Roelofs, Sam Roelofs, Maria Roelofs, Jake Roelofs, Luke Roelofs; great grandchildren, Eden Roelofs, Violet Roelofs, Harmony Roelofs, Avery Spitler; brother Roger Roelofs; sisters Dolores and Dore Westra, Mary and Dennis Auwema, Kathy and Bruce Hulst; in-laws, Juliana Hulst, Paul and Jody Hulst, Jane Kapenga, Vicki and Herschel King; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Ross.
A Memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, May 29, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1015 East 32nd Street, Holland.
Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Klett.
A Visitation, also held at the church, will precede the Memorial service at 3:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life of Holland Area or to Spectrum Hospice.
Arrangements are by Lakeshore Memorial Services, Holland.
