Delores was a member of St. Michael Church of Brunswick. In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband John Edward Slater in 1980, daughter-in-law Rosa Amelia Vallejo Slater in 1980, and grandson Ben Slater in 1997.

The family would like to especially thank Laura Raczok-Nelson and Delores’ grandchildren for all of their help in caring for Delores.
Funeral mass will be held Friday August 28 at 12:00pm at St. Michael Church, 6382 South Maple Island Road in Fremont. Visitation will be two hours prior to services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
