Delwyn Lee Dekker, 80, of Holland passed away on January 9, 2024. He was born in Holland on September 26, 1943. Del graduated from Holland High School and took classes at Davenport University. He worked for most of his career as a bookkeeper, specializing in taxation. Del loved Jesus and attended worship services and events at Rose Park Reformed and Peace Lutheran church.
Del was preceded in death by Leonard A. Dekker (father), Margaret H. Dekker (mother), Joyce E. Dekker (sister) and Marsha Lind. He is survived by his three sons, Thomas Dekker, John Dekker, and Dan Dekker (Kim); his grandchildren, Joseph Dekker, Madelyn Dekker, Kirstin Dekker, and Kaelyn Dekker; great grandchildren, Joseph Jr. and Brooke Dekker; niece, Melissa Zavala; and friends Mark Lind and Beth Schlafely.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 15 from 5pm to 7pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St Holland, MI 49424.
