Ed was born August 19, 1952, in Holland, MI to Edward and Anna Bredeweg. After high school, Ed joined and served in the Army National Guard. Ed loved and enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. Ed loved to go to Florida in the winter months and go up north in the summer months. Ed loved being outdoors hunting. Ed was a great family man and will be deeply missed.
Ed is survived by: his wife, Sally Bredeweg; children, Tammy (Jeremy) Zeerip, and Matthew (Becca) Bredeweg; grandchildren, Brynn, Brody, Annie, Kate, and Ty; brothers, Howard (Maryiln) Bredeweg and Dave (Ellen) Bredeweg; sister, Hazel (Rod) Folkert; and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Anna Bredeweg.
A visitation will be held on Sunday September 29, 2024 from 4-7 at Community Reformed Church, 10376 Felch St. Zeeland, MI 49464. A funeral service will be at 11 am on Monday September 30, 2024 at Community Reformed Church. Officiated by Pastor Trent Walker.
