

She died from a fall just three months shy of her 100th birthday. She was an encourager to all who met her. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was the hands and feet of Jesus wherever she went. Everyone was drawn to her gentleness, love and wise counsel. She was filled with wisdom, fun, and a deep love for others. She was married to her love, Don, for 74 years and she worked as a church secretary and for Don's egg and butter business, Miceli and Oldfield. Ele's heart was also for mentoring young people in her church and throughout the years many lives were changed as a result.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her sister Lucille Ray, her daughter Marilyn Murphy, and her granddaughter Julie Mortenson. She is survived by her daughter Karen and James Michael of Missouri, 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 10-11:30 a.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, Michigan.
